Funeral Cost Index publishes council-area funeral price data from funeral directors’ CMA Standardised Price Lists. Councils, advice organisations and bereavement teams can link residents to local price information without building or maintaining their own dataset.

Each local authority page includes medians, provider coverage and captured local price ranges.
CSV data
Use the national CSV or a local council CSV for evidence notes, reports and resident guidance.
No paid ranking
Funeral directors cannot pay to rank higher. Data is sourced from public price lists.
